It is a great honor to provide period-appropriate clothing to museums and living history volunteers. We strive to collaborate with each historical venue to create quality clothing that showcases the best in comfort, appropriate style, lasting materials and construction, and great customer service.
My favorite clothiers without question. I needed period correct shirts for General Washington and Sycamore Springs did not disappoint. Outstanding quality in materials and construction. They have my absolute highest recommendation.

Sycamore Spring Clothier has made all of the period clothing for the Overfield Tavern Museum, lending a special touch to the interpretation of our 1808-1824 frontier log tavern. The costumes for men, women, and children made by SSC are of the highest quality and authenticity. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with them in the outfitting of our staff, volunteers, and museum visitors and look forward to working with them in the future.

I highly recommend Sycamore Spring Clothier for your reproduction gown and other items. Over the years I have purchased nearly a dozen garments from this establishment and have been highly satisfied with their workmanship. The ladies knowledge of historic fashions, fabrics, and more is amazing! They are also some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met! Buy something from them!!!

I have had two gowns made by Sycamore Springs Colthier. I volunteer at a state historic site in Piqua. The gowns they made were in the period og 1815 and 1820's. I have to say, wow! Tailor fitted, historically accurate and professionally made. The attention to detail is outstanding! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Personally, they will be the only ones I will go to for future historic clothing needs. Well done Sycamore Springs Clothier!
